نحوه تولید یونولیت
To produce Unolith, polystyrene is extracted from oil refinery in raw form. After that, the polystyrene beads are impregnated with pentane and turned into pre-foam at a temperature above 90 degrees Celsius. This increase in temperature causes the evaporation of pentane and this process causes 20 to 50 times the dimensions of the thermoplastic base. In the next step, the seeds are kept for 6 to 12 hours to reach equilibrium. Then, finally, they are transferred to various formats to become the desired shape.
